This prestigious music festival that originated in Switzerland is just arriving at the Dominican Republic! From the 15th to the 18th of August, Punta Cana (Bavaro) will host the Punta Cana Music & Art Festival!
With around 20 years of excellent results in Europe, Caliente! wants to position its brand and festival in an international level, becoming a reference for world-wide music and art events. The main objective of the Punta Cana Music & Art Festival is to offer our rich Dominican culture a special and new platform to present the country’s music, arts, riches and all its cultural colors to international visitors in Bavaro and nearby communities. The Punta Cana Music & Art Festival gathers all audiences from different parts of the world and offers something for everyone: from kids and teenagers to families and grandparents, being true to its slogan “Cultural festival for the whole family”.
This festival makes an effort to show tourists that the Dominican Republic has more than just resorts, beaches, and drinks. The festival includes several activities like a majestic exposition with some of the most prestigious Dominican painters and sculptors at the Palma Real Shopping Village, beach parties, evening parties in nightclubs, and many concerts at different scenarios in Bavaro. And, let’s not forget, a party for both children and adults!
The goal is to have this festival every year around the same dates. That way, fans of the Latin music repertoire from around the world will know that they’ll be able to easily combine an amazing music festival with summer vacations at the beach under the Dominican sun!
