As an eConcierge I am always at my guests’ behest, so when my vacation time rolled around I must admit I had a bit of separation anxiety. With a position of so much responsibility for ensuring that our guests have an exceptional vacation experience, it’s hard to just forget everything for a while; especially when the shoe is on the other foot and I am the one being pampered!
A World-Class Transfer with Amstar
As I began preparations for my trip to Los Cabos, I approached Amstar DMC through Twitter at @amstardmc inquiring about their service. Within 48 hours I had confirmation to first class transportation to and from the resort and airport! I have to say that the staff is first class. They know how to truly listen and anticipate ones needs. Experiencing their customer service, I had to ask myself if I make my guests feel anything close to the trust and professionalism they showed me.
My flight took me from Puerto Vallarta to the airport in Mexico City. Unfortunately, upon arrival I found out something no traveler ever wants to hear: flight canceled. I quickly sent Amstar another tweet with the news as well as the information on my new arrival time. When my plane finally landed in Los Cabos, an Amstar representative, Manuel, stood waiting for me at the gate with my name and a friendly smile. Noticing that I was unaccustomed to the Los Cabos heat, he kindly handed me a cold bottle of water and a refreshing cold towel for the heat.
On the way to my resort, the fabulous Secrets Marquis Los Cabos, Manuel took the time to provide me with valuable tips about Los Cabos and the surrounding area. He truly anticipated my every need, providing me with world-class service in modern, extremely comfortable vehicles both to and from the resort. In the end, Manuel felt like a trusted new friend.
Unlimited Luxury: Secret Marquis Los Cabos
Traveling through the mesmerizing landscape of Baja Californiaon the way to Secret Marquis Los Cabos led to me to imagine a gorgeous desert oasis in some far away land, a place of absolute luxury and refuge from everyday problems. As a result, my arrival to this sophisticated oceanfront escape really felt like some sort of romantic dream. I was only convinced otherwise by the polite resort staff, who greeted me with grace and the courtesy of a refreshing welcome drink.
Sophisticated Indulgence
There are so many good things to say about Secrets Marquis that I don’t even know where to begin. The elegant accommodations, exquisite settings and stunning views are just the backdrop for an inspiring experience. The food at this Unlimited-Luxury® paradise is amazing, and the resort offers an array of activities to keep you engaged and active at all times. For instance, on the third day of my stay I enjoyed their world class spa and watched other guests play volleyball from a spa pool above the main pool. The facilities were incredible! At night there was salsa dancing and a Brazilian dance troupe showed us a couple new moves to take back home.
Exploring Los Cabos
On our last night we ventured downtown to check out the town. My friend and I got a massage at a nice, local parlor. The ladies there were very nice and I feel we got what we paid for. That night we made our way to Puerto Paraiso where we took a walk around the shopping center and visited stores such as Tiffany’s, Montblanc and Johnny Rockets. We capped off our evening enjoying a beautiful evening at the downtown pier.
Memories That Last a Lifetime
Our stay at Secrets Marquis Los Cabos was phenomenal. I don’t know if destiny will ever accompany me back to this mesmerizing oasis in Los Cabos, but even if for whatever reason my life’s journey takes me elsewhere, the resort’s unlimited luxury and exceptional service will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Having experienced such a wonderful getaway, I returned to Puerto Vallarta well-rested, thankful for my amazing experience and ready and energized to exceed my clients expectations, pampering them with the same respect and attention that I received in Secrets Marquis.
