In the beginning, Amstar DMC provided amazing travel services to the Apple Vacation Customers arriving in Cancun. This original staff started as a small team of only 12 lead by Martha Loredo. Today, Amstar employs 1,500 staff members and operates in 26 destinations across 5 countries. Furthermore, Amstar services all ALG Companies, 75 other leisure operators, and is a top partner to the Meetings & Events Industry.

Amstar DMC proudly reports that their efforts are being recognized by industry professionals and independent authorities. As a result, Amstar DMC received the Stella award for best Destination Management Company in the Americas in 2018. In addition, the Jamaican tourism association awarded Amstar DMC – best Destination Management Company. Furthermore, Amstar DMC holds trip advisor certificates of excellence for 2019.

Celebrating 30 years of hard work and achievements
As a way of commemorating all of Amstar DMC’s hard work in the tourism business creating outstanding experiences for all types of travelers and customers a gathering was held September 27 of this year. Friends, partners, and colleagues gathered for an evening of celebration at the Breathless Resort and Spa in Cancun. The evening was full of music, speeches, laughter, and commemoration. Including, the unveiling of a beautifully put together video of Amstar DMC’s 30-year journey with stories of success shared by friends, partners, and colleagues of the company and a brand-new commemorative 30thanniversary logo.
Overall, it’s easy to see the strides and accomplishments Amstar DMC has racked up over the years.
