Puerto Vallarta was originally a simple town, a gateway for the silver extracted from nearby mines. But it took just one movie to for the world to discover it and turn Puerto Vallarta into the gorgeous resort it is today. The Night of the Iguana, a film by John Huston starring famous actors like Richard Burton, Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr helped put this Mexican destination in the global map.
