“Our goal is to minimize the effects of the pandemic and promote a responsible recovery that prioritizes health, maximizes the potential for job creation and economic growth, and encourages the sector to continue to develop in a sustainable way,” said Luis Abinader Corona.
The benefits of the Temporary Travel Insurance Plan include:
- Coverage for emergencies
- Telemedicine services
- Long-stay accommodation and flight change costs in the event of a Covid-19 contagion situation.

In order to receive the benefits of this insurance policy, visitors to the country must stay at a hotel in the Dominican Republic. The insurance assistance plan will be applied starting on September 15 until December 31, 2020.
