The ultimate packing guide for an all-inclusive vacation

Is this your first time traveling to a tropical, all-inclusive vacation?
We know how that excitement feels. You’ve been planning this trip for some time now and have made your sacrifices to make it happen. But now comes one of the important and quiet exciting (yes, it’s fun) steps: packing!

There are a number of things that you must take into consideration like your airline’s weight restrictions and how many days you’ll be in your dream destination but this list will serve as a good guideline.

Documents & other important materials
Passport 
– Driver’s license (for those exciting ATV tours)
– Travelers insurance
– Hotel reservation
– Boarding passes (if no electronic copies available)
Airport transfer reservation
– One credit card for extra indulgences (don’t forget to tell your bank you’re traveling)
– And copies of everything
– Small bills for gratuities and souvenirs
– Pen (to fill out immigration forms, etc)

When in the tropics
– Biodegradable sunblock (protect your skin AND the planet)
– Biodegradable insect repellent
– Aloe vera
– Zip lock bags
– Band aids
– Over the counter painkillers and for stomach ailments
– If you have prescription drugs, be sure to take extra with your medical note

Beach wear
– 2-3 pairs of swimsuits
– Sunglasses
– Hat/cap
– Beach bag
– Cover up for the beach
– Beach/pool book
– Flip flips
– A pair of nice sandals for those nights out
– Dresses
– Dress up shirt for men (look into your resort’s dinner policies)
– Tennis or comfortable walking shoes
– Water shoes (if applicable)
– Extra room in your suitcase for souvenirs
Bonus: take into consideration what excursions and tours you’ll be doing and plan your wardrobe accordingly.

What to leave at home
– Beach towels (if your hotel offers them)
– Expensive jewelry
