Worldstar, Amstar´s sister company in Hawaii, is thrilled to announce that we received our first passengers in Hawaii on October 17th! All arrivals, including residents of the islands, had been under a strict 14-day quarantine protocol ever since Covid-19 related restrictions were implemented for all the Hawaiian Islands several months ago.
Hawaii Governor David Ige confirmed on September 23rd that the government of Hawaii had updated its protective order, indicating that October 15 would be the date when U.S. and international travelers could resume visiting the exotic destination.
Incoming travelers must still provide a valid COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) within 72 hours of boarding their flight to Hawaii and must show proof of a negative test result upon arrival at the airport in order to avoid the 14-day quarantine. Basic COVID-19 precautions are still mandatory: facemask must be worn in public and physical distancing is required.
