So, here are five excellent questions to ask your Amstar driver on the way to your resort.
5 Excellent Questions for your Amstar Driver:
1.- Start by getting to know him! Ask “¿Cómo te llamas?” That’s “What’s your name?” and ask him a little bit about him, his family, etc. Share a little bit about yourself as well! We love to chat and get to know our customers.
2.- What was the highlight of your day (or week)? This question puts the conversation on a positive note right off the bat and you will surely make someone’s day by getting into that positive mood. And you might get surprised – the highlight of the day might just be talking to you.
3.- The next question is very important. What’s the best local food and where to find it? If you really want to taste the local flavors, ask a local. If you’re in Mexico, it might be just a factor of deciding between barbacoa tacos or Al Pastor. If you’re in the Dominican Republic, ask about Sancocho and when you’re in Jamaica, you can’t leave without trying some Jerk Chicken.
4.- We know you’re on vacation looking for some R&R but since you’ve come so far, it would be a shame to miss some of the country’s best features. So, be sure to ask your driver “what are the destination highlights you can’t miss while you’re here”. You might be surprised to find one of the New Wonders of the World (Chichen Itza near Cancun-Riviera Maya), or a waterfall that empties into the sea (Dunn’s River Falls in Jamaica). Your Amstar driver might just suggest that the prettiest beach in the Dominican Republic is Saona Island, or he might just suggest that one of the most beautiful sights in Costa Rica is the imposing Arenal Volcano.
